Two teenage girls have been charged with an attempted robbery in Oxford.
The 14-year-old girls were charged in connection with an attempted handbag snatch from a 21-year-old woman in Banbury Road on September 15.
One girl was charged with attempted robbery while the other was charged with attempted robbery, actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.
Last night both girls were remanded into custody and due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today
