Well finally recovered from my birthday weekend and have said that is it from now on, its time i started taking things a little slower and calmer.
Went for my 25 week check up with the doctor and every thing was great no problems to report which is always a huge sigh of relief. I did have a chat with my doctor though as work are still being a problem. I go in at 8.30 and by 9.00 i have no work to do!! some people would think that was great but i like to keep busy as makes the time go quicker. No matter who i e mailed or spoke to nothing seems to be changing. As i explained all this to the doctor he was really understanding. I also explained that my SPD was also getting worse and sat in an office for 7 hours was taking its toll on me!
so....... he signed me off!! yes i am now off work for a whole month!!!!
It is hard trying to find things to do. Back in the day i would have been able to sleep in till about lunch time after maybe going to the pub for a few drinks with friends but my days of lie ins have completely gone now! 7-7.30 without fail is the latest i will sleep in till!! in a few months time i will be saying how that is a lie in!! lol I have brought a swimming costume so i am thinking of taking up swimming a few times a week or seeing if there are any aquanatal classes anywhere? Only problem is i have been told not to do breast stroke as it can irratate the SPD but it is worth giving it a go as the weight is starting to pile on now!
So many people have been asking me about my blog and asking why it isnt in the paper anymore? To be honest i dont know why it was stopped. I really enjoyed writing my diary and knowing that close friends around me were there reading it and being supportive. I have been keeping all the paper articles and my own diary so that i could show Squidge one day. I think they should bring it back to the paper for everyone to see how we are all doing! What do you think?
