On September 9, I received an email at about 10pm to say that the Blenheim Horse Trials had been cancelled and that money would be refunded to my account within the next 10 days.
Ten days passed and there was still no money.
I contacted Blenheim and was told I needed to send a letter to a PO box address in Bicester.
This information wasn't emailed to me — I was only told about it when I questioned the whereabouts of my £65.75.
If I had waited much longer, I wouldn't have been able to claim this money back, according to the recently updated website.
I am still waiting for my money.
How is it that the electronic transaction that took less than three days to leave my account takes more than three weeks to be returned?
I hope others are aware of this and are not too late to claim their money back.
