Two cows were rescued from the River Thames near Oxford yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters were called at 3.15pm after the animals were spotted in difficulty off Church Road, near the King's Arms pub, in Sandford-on-Thames.
One of the cows managed to free itself while the other was helped to safety using a boat.
