What a fantastic display by the British paralympic team who did us proud by winning 42 golds and a total of 102 medals, coming second only to China.

Many world records were smashed. The whole games were something to remember.

My only criticism was the level of coverage by the BBC for terrestrial viewers. Those without the red button missed a remarkable display. I hope that London 2012 will have as much coverage of the Paralympics as the Olympics.

After all, the BBC spends a lot of time covering golf, snooker and such like, which with the licence fee, we are paying to view, so to speak.
