While I agree that the waste collectors do a job not many would do, I take great exception to the way they carry out their duties.

They are supposed to return bins to their collection point, and not use wheelie bins for anyone else's rubbish, only the house concerned.

I have not got a problem with 'job and finish' as long as the operators do their jobs properly as contracted to do.

Let's hope that city councillor John Tanner will do something that stops the archaic practice.
