A gang of teenage robbers attacked a man, a woman and a student in three separate bag snatches in Oxford.
The first robbery happened at about 10.30am yesterday while a student was reading in Bury Knowle Park, Headington, when a boy came up and stole his bag.
Then at 1pm a woman was in South Park when a boy tried to grab her bag but when she screamed he ran away.
Another bag was stolen at 2.45pm from a man who was sitting on a bench in Bury Knowle Park.
The robbers are thought to be a group of between four and seven white males aged about 14 or 15. They were either wearing blue sweatshirts or red jumpers.
PC Charlotte Dunford said: "I would like to reassure residents that we are doing all that we can to catch the offenders and we will be increasing patrols in the area."
