Pupils threw open the doors of their refurbished school after it was transformed by £900,000 of improvements.
The Ridgeway Primary School, in Childrey, near Wantage, marked the end of the year-long project with an open day for parents and villagers.
They showed off their new hall, larger classrooms, toilets and office for the headteacher on Monday.
Headteacher Ruth Franklin said: "It's huge, it's doubled the size of the school building and has enabled us to deliver the PE curriculum, because we didn't have a hall before."
She is pictured with, from left, pupils Sam Parr, 10, Hannah Barton, 10, Nick Jones, eight, and Lara King, eight, in the new hall.
She added: "It was very much needed and it has given us a separate space for dining and assembly. The old part of the school has been refurbished and it has increased the classroom size."
The project was funded mostly by Oxfordshire County Council, although trustees of the 68-pupil school also contributed.
Parents and villagers also rallied round to raise thousands of pounds for furniture and equipment.
