Banbury Christmas lights will this year be switched on by Oxford-raised soap star Jo Joyner, who plays Tanya Branning in EastEnders.
The Cheeky Girls will headline a four-hour live stage programme, which also includes local band Richlife and the Scholars and dance routines by pupils of the Joanne Mills School of Dance.
The event on Sunday, November 30, in Market Place, also features a fairground and market stalls, and hair and beauty salon Ekko will offer makeovers in aid of the Angel Gifts Appeal, set up by Karen and Neil Hancox in memory of their daughter Kayleigh, who was stillborn last year.
