Past and present residents of Jericho, Oxford, can take a trip down memory lane at their own cinema show.
The Phoenix in Walton Street has agreed on Sunday to show two nostalgic films of the area.
The first, to be shown at 11am, highlights the memories of six women — Kathleen Tustin, Pam Powell, Lilian Peedell, Norah Simpson, Vera Rush and Jean Padmore.
This will be followed by a film of Jericho shot in the 1950s by resident Wally Peedell.
Mr Peedell, who was raised in Jericho, Oxford, in the early 1900s, attended St Barnabas School and became an apprentice bricklayer with Kingerlee, the Oxford building firm.
In 1947, he, his two brothers and his son-in-law formed a successful building company, Peedell Bros.
He carried a cine camera everywhere, capturing many facets of life in Jericho.
Entry to the cinema is free and everyone is welcome. There is room for about 200 people.
