A football match to celebrate the memory of ex-Oxford United legend Nigel Cassidy is due to take place tonight.

Former stars including Ron Atkinson, Alan Judge, Matt Elliott, Roy Burton and John Shuker are expected as a Cassidy Select XI takes on an OUFC Legends team at Bicester Town Football Club's ground, at 7.15pm.

"Cass", as he was known, played for the Us in the early 1970s and died in May aged 62. Junior matches begin at 6pm with the main event at 7.15pm.

Entry costs £2 for adults and £1 for concessions and all money will go towards the Nigel Cassidy Trust, which supports youth sport.
