A family is celebrating after identical twin sisters both gave birth within days of each other.
Charlene and Samantha Breakspear, 19, had their first babies only 10 days apart at Wantage Community Hospital.
Connor was born to Charlene and her partner, Gavin Morris, 24, on September 1, at 12.16am.
Then, on September 10, Chloe was born to Samantha and her partner Steve Excel, 22, at 5.03pm.
Samantha said: "We could not believe it when we found out we were pregnant together, we thought we could not have planned it any better.
"It is quite good because we were both at each other's births and we have been helping each other with everything.
"They were brilliant at the maternity unit — they were excellent and helped us with everything."
The sisters both went to King Alfred's Community and Sports College, and live at home in Stockham Park with their mother Kim Breakspear, 44. They are planning to move in with their partners.
Charlene, an administrative assistant, works together with her sister, a kitchen assistant, at Crown Packaging in Wantage.
Charlene said: "It was brilliant being pregnant together, but we did not plan it like this. It has brought us closer together because we talk a lot more.
"We share everything, we share bedrooms and pinch each other's nappies and things when we need them. We really support each other.
"I did not feel her pain or anything in labour like some twins, but I had a gut feeling when she was going to go into labour.
"Neither of us have plans for more children — maybe in a few years."
Mother-of-five Mrs Breakspear said: "Charlene told us she was pregnant first, and then a week later Samantha said she was too.
"They are always the same and they've always been close and hardly ever argued. They were both crying during each other's labour.
"I think the children are very lucky and if they stay in the same area, which I think they will, they'll end up going to school together and playgroup.
"They'll be inseparable like the mums and they'll look after each other. It will be one big happy family."
Connor has been given the middle name Allan in memory of the twins' elder brother, who was killed in a road accident in 2005.
Mrs Breakspear added: "I only wish Allan was here to see them."
Carole Jones, community midwife at Wantage Maternity Unit, said: "Both had uncomplicated births, nice and straightforward."
