Police this evening named a woman found dead at a house in Banbury.
Officers issued an appeal for help following the discovery of the body in a house in Mold Crescent yesterday.
The woman was identified as Sughra Rani, 30, from Mold Crescent.
Det Insp Colin Seaton said: “I appeal to anyone who has information that could assist police enquiries to get in touch.
“I would like reassure the community in this area of Banbury that a man has been arrested and at this time, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the enquiry.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with Sughra’s family at this difficult time.”
