Two scaffolders who were injured during a fall at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday were tonight still in a stable condition in Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
Gavin Eldridge and Carl Hamlett were working on the roof of the courthouse in St Aldate's when it is believed a ladder beam folded and gave way.
The men, both in their 20s, suffered broken bones when they fell an estimated 25ft.
The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the incident.
