Four men barged into a property in Oxford then attacked and robbed the young occupants.
The robbers attacked the residents, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman before stealing an X-Box, computer games and two mobile phones.
The robbery happened in Bonar Road, Wood Farm, Oxford, on Thursday at about 9pm. Details were only released this evening.
One of the men was black and was wearing a black Afghan-style jacket with a fur hood. He was 20 to 22-years-old, 6ft and stocky. The other offenders were black, white and mixed race and they were all wearing casual clothing with hooded tops.
Det Con Simon Hannam said “The man suffered nasty facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"This is a particularly distressing incident and both residents have been left shocked. I urge anyone who may have seen these men or any suspicious activity in the area at the time, to contact me.”
