Police this afternoon appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash near North Leigh.
A blue Renault Clio was travelling on the A4095 from the direction of Long Hanborough, towards North Leigh, when it was involved in a collision with a white Honda motorcycle travelling from Witney towards Long Hanborough, just outside Eynsham Hall at the junction with Park Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man from Witney, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. The driver of the Clio, a 63-year-old woman from North Leigh, suffered shock.
The road was closed for three-and-a-half hours after the collision, which happened at about 2.20pm on Saturday, while forensic collision investigators examined the scene.
