Who remembers that popular TV show, Criss Cross Quiz?
It was a programme that combined the game Noughts and Crosses with general knowledge questions.
It was aired on the ITV network for 10 years from 1957 to 1967 and was produced by Granada Television.
In 1959, members of Wootton Youth Club — we assume it was the one near Abingdon, not Woodstock — played their own version of the game.
Jimmy Woodward, 17, left, and Peter Lloyd, 16, right, are pictured answering the questions put by host Christopher Day, 16, centre.
At the back, club leader Mr L Humphreys keeps the score on a board made by Christopher.
Can anyone recall who acted as host of the TV show?
