East Oxford-based charity Viva arranged for eight teams of 10 to compete over an inflatable assault course on Saturday.

The Marston Road charity supports children at risk of poverty, abuse and disease worldwide.

Entrants, including Binia Scherne, pictured, faced obstacles, including a giant inflatable toy store.

One man even dislocated his shoulder as the competition heated up and was taken by ambulance to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.

Isabelle Boscaro- Clarkecorr, part of a team from the Harwell Science and Innovation Campuscorr, said: "It was great fun — I got very wet."
