The case against a couple accused of killing an Oxford man in Los Angeles last year has been postponed for a second time.

Angela and Michael Sheridan are alleged to have punched Roderick Poole before the 45-year-old was stabbed after a dispute in a Hollywood car park.

However, at the Los Angeles Courthouse on Wednesday, the case was adjourned, as it was in July.

The district attorney's office has released no new date for the next hearing and both the accused were remanded in custody.

Mr Poole, a guitarist, was well-known as a founder member of the Oxford Improvisors Co-operative in the early 1980s.
