We are all anxious to hear what the new timetable is for the Westgate redevelopment. We have little doubt that the scheme will go ahead — we just wonder when that is going to be.

In Bicester, the town-centre redevelopment has been delayed by a year. However, in Witney, the town-centre redevelopment is progressing on schedule.
Oxford City Council called this week for the developers to come up with a new timetable for the Westgate Centre.
It is vital that the developers do come up with a new, realistic timetable that gives some certainty to the situation.
This is a critical development for Oxford. Many other developments and changes will feed off it.
