A Good Samaritan was robbed by a woman she tried to help.
Police today appealed for information on a robbery in Becket Street, Oxford, at 9.30pm on Saturday. The victim went to help a woman who appeared upset and distressed.
Instead the woman grabbed a Motorola mobile phone and assaulted her. The robber is described as white, around 30 years old with short brown or red hair and has a small dog.
Dc Iain Spencer said: "This was a nasty robbery where a woman who was offering help was robbed. There was a couple and another man nearby who might have seen this happen and I would like to appeal for these people to contact me."
