The washout meant Twyford and Great Brickhill, both playing their first seasons in the league, were able to celebrate clinching the Division 4 and 5 titles respectively.
By contrast Brackley are coming to terms with a second relegation in two seasons, this time from Division 5 to 6.
Two matches got under way in Division 6, with champions Wallingford close to victory at home to Oxford 3rd when rain called a halt to proceedings.
Ali Damirchi had taken 5-24 as Oxford were bundled out for 91, but with the hosts on 58-1 in reply the match had to be called off.
There was a similar scoreline at Thame Town 2nd, where Long Marston 2nd had been reduced to 84 all out by Ryan Murray (5-15) and Gary Porter (3-8).
But rain intervened with Thame on 34 without loss after eight overs.
Bledlow Village 2nd were unable to start their game at Stanton St John Willows and will therefore join Willows in Division 7 next summer if the latter are re-elected to the league.
