Paul Collingwood has a lot to answer for.
It is all well and good coming out after a match and admit you made a mistake, but his error was monumental and he should face sanctions for it.
I know we all want to win, but you at least want to win legitimately - not through under-hand tactics.
It was so obvious that he should never have appealed after the run-out today but he couldn't resist a cheap wicket.
I remember as an 11-year-old captaining Abingdon Vale after we warned a batsman for backing up before the bowler had released the ball.
We stopped, warning him and then even had the graciousness to do it once more. he went on to win the match for the opposition - but I'll never forget my generosity.
Collingwood meanwhile may struggle to sleep . . .
