I know that floods are serious issues but we had a bit of a giggle yesterday.
In the pouring rain at about 1pm me and three other intrepid runners headed out to run our usual 8miles up to Youlebury Scout Camp and back through South Hinksey.
It was madness - at times our paths had become raging torrents. We ran round agog and giggling like schoolgirls - which is no mean feat considering I am the youngest by about 20 years and I'm 35.
Running into South Hinksey, the road was under about a foot of water but by then the sheen had worn off as it became obvious that it was getting serious for residents and I was getting an awful case of jogger's nipple.
