Just less than two weeks to go until Blenheim Tri and I have picked up an unusual injury.
I can't claim it is down to anything interesting really but I tiled the bathroom floor at the weekend and two days of kneeling and squatting took it's toll on my highly tuned athletes body.
My hamstring in my left leg is now tighter than a piano wire and walking has been sore for a couple of days.
I am hoping it will disappear before the weekend because I also want to compete in the OX5 Run on Sunday.
I was supposed to be held a couple of months ago but was postponed because of the snow.
Last year I chundered within view of the finish line - I am hoping not to do that again this year.
