Firstly, I must apologise for the delay in writing this - it's just I've been in a huge queue at the bookies to collect my winnings from Paul Scholes scoring the first goal.
And then after Oxford City's triumph, it's been a non-stop party.
Actually, there was no queue at the bookies, and while I did have a pint to celebrate City's promotion, I didn't go overboard.
It was great to see so many people at City on Saturday - and just goes to show that there is interest in our non-League teams when they do well.
It was just a shame that the weather ruined hopes of a huge crowd for their semi-final at Didcot.
I turned up at the postponed Tuesday night match and couldn't believe it was off. I looked at the pitch and it seemed fine - just how after a whole 24 hours of rain they played it the next night I don't know, but it probably was because I couldn't go!
On a serious note, well done the City - now by my reckoning they aer just two divisions below United....plenty of reason to really push on.
