Our eagerly awaited trip to Legoland and thank God it wasn't raining.
We were a bit apprehensive because Littl'un had been pretty poorly all week with a cold and sore throat.
(I've taken her to the doctor's since my last blog). But she seemed pretty chipper and we set off (Daddy more excited than anyone.)
Got there and sussed out the place. I'd asked a few people who'd been before whether it was any good for little ones and we made our way to Duploland, which was right down in the valley - great, because it was pretty sheltered comnpared to the rest of the park.
For the next four hours we went on all types of great things - a boat, a train, in cars and apart from an initial wobble when we first got on a train, she loved it.
We saw "WOOF" (The Big Bad Wolf), "Red" (Little Red Riding Hood and even the troll.
As you'd expect with a theme park lunch cost a small fortune (a cup of coffee cost £2.30!), but it was good food and we even fitted in a couple of shows - the highlight being a puppet show of Jack and the Beanstalk (I think this is probably the longest I have ever seen Littl'un sit still).
She was asleep as soon as we got in the car.
What a great day.
I'd recommend it.
