I was right - well half-right really.
I did no training at the conference and drank quite a lot.
But I managed to get away without drinking too much and therefore awoke yesterday morning feeling sleepy but not much worse.
I slightly embarrassed myself by sitting with a group of MDs for breakfast and showed my northern roots by getting together a DIY bacon sarnie in the half-decent restaurant of the hotel.
Ho hum.
Anyway no hard training now as it is the OX5 run at Blenheim on Sunday.
I always look forward to it despite showing myself by chundering within sight of the finishing line last year. I'm hoping for a half decent time of about 33.50 but we'll see, it is a deceptively hilly course.
