I have bean reading comments on the internet about the opening of Jamie Oliver Italian restaurant in Oxford, sad comments, some personal, but I think most of the comments come from people with a brain as large as a pea. Comments like that we have enough Italian restaurants in George Street, what is the point of another one, first of all the so called Italian restaurant are so far removed from being Italian as I am of becoming the King of Britain. Most of the British have been so brain washed about Italian food that you do not have a clue. The food you are served like garlic bread, spag bol (new one to me), lasagne, are not the real Italian food, we do not live on pasta and bread, the variety of food is extensive. Jamie has worked in Italy, he understands what Italian food is all about. You do not have to be Italian to cook Italian as long as you understand and have passion on how food works. I hope Jamie brings the real thing, I say (in bocca al lupo) for the one`s who do not understand it means good luck. One thing I bet, you must have a lot of b**** to open a restaurant, cook and even lisp.
Ciao Ciao.
