Merry Christmas everybody and a Happy New Year!

My Christmas has been going very well. I've eaten more than my own body weight in turkey, stuffing, mince pies and the like. And I've drunk so much booze I think you could probably use my blood to set fire to the xmas pud.

I've also been quite lucky as Santa has been very generous with my xmas gifts.

Well, more my boyfriend than Santa actually. In fact I have to say I was quite taken aback when I opened my pressi on Christmas day to find he had bought me the most beautiful white gold, gold and diamond ring you can imagine.

May I just add here that this was no proposal, I mean seriously, it's only been 8 months. Although I did rather cruelly consider jumping up and down shouting 'yes! I will!' just to see the look of horror on his face and see how quickly a boyfriend shaped hole would appear in the door.

Seeing as we have just found a fantastic little flat in Lewisham, which we move into on the 25th Jan, I thought this may not be such a good idea. Don't want to scare him off too early...
