Victim of a scam,
Last month I kept getting texts on my mobile for an auction of ipods, each one I received I deleted, thinking I do not know who they are, so I did not answer. However when I received my bill I noticed that it was higher then normal, on closer scrutiny I read that there was a charge of £20.00 on text messages received, I checked the number, it was the same number of the ipod auction. I rang my mobile company to ask why I was charged for something I did not agree with, their answer was that the charges were from a third party, surely one's service provider should protect their clients interest, apparently not. So I am writing to the Consumers Association on why this is being allowed, after all if the service providers collect the money on their behalf, they become also responsible.
Meanwhile watch out there is a thief about.
Ciao Ciao
