High drama at the OFS this afternoon - we have an unwell actress who in the true spirit of 'the show must go on' is bravely carrying on (albeit with a bucket at the side of the stage).
So far after a week in charge of the OFS I haven't let the power go to my head and I haven't had any major traumas! Fingers crossed...
If you've walked past the OFS any evening this week you may well of heard impassioned singing from the students rehearsing for 'Carousel' which we have on all next week - with a live orchestra as well which is quite unusual for us, given how small the space is. Although most of the talk about our upcoming shows is to do with the nudity involed in The Blue Room - they have a very eye-catching postcard advertising the show!
We had an Open Evening at the New Theatre this week to give the people of Oxford a chance to see behind the scenes and ask questions to our General Manager.
Erin, who works at the theatre and took round some of the tours, tells me that her tours were by far the best! It went really well so watch out for news of when we do the next one (and you can probably request to be on Erin's tour!)
