Things are moving apace now with our November production of 'Pretzels for Dinner'by Janet Shaw.
Pretzels is a bitter-sweet comedy looking at life through the eyes of Annie Johnson, married to Bill for thirty-five years and the highlight of her life is her weekly shop at Asda.
She has devoted her adult life to being a wife and a mother, and then suddenly, after his death she finds herself to be a woman on her own. She realises that she has forgotten how to be herself, forgotten her dreams and mislaid her ambitions, but with help (or hindrance) from her nosey next-door neighbour Hilary, she starts to re-build her life.
Husband Bill, although gone, is not going to let her get on with her life, without trying to interfere for one last time.
Production dates are 23rd-25th of November. Seats in all parts at time of writing. Tickets from 01865 820605.

At KBDG wetry to support other groups in the area and some members are going to see 'Noises Off' a very funny play put on next week by the Faringdon Drama Group. We produced this play some five years,it's a fabulous comedy and ran for years in the West End.
We also ran a ‘Wine & Nibbles’ recruitment evening recently and were delighted to welcome at least two keen new recruits to the group in the form of Sarah and Rob. Hopefully more will filter through when they realise what they have been missing.
