After being out of the country for a few days, it's a relief to come back and find the ridiculous debate over certain members of the community covering their faces has calmed down.
For goodness' sake, let's show these people some respect. It's part of their culture after all. They've been dressing that way for years.
We should remember, we live in a multicultural society now.
I know there's meant to be a peace process and we've let all the prisoners out, but we must remember they haven't blown anything up for some years, so who's going to be offended by a few IRA blokes continuing to wear balaclavas?
Besides, it's getting quite chilly in the evenings now, so it seems quite a sensible idea.
As Gerry Adams once said, 'They haven't gone away you know' ...
