Oxford Bus Company has issued a warning to passengers following a Facebook scam.
A fake page named 'Public Transport for Oxford' claimed a six-month ticket could be bought for £2 to celebrate an anniversary of the bus company.
Oxford Bus Company has warned people not to fall for the scam.
The company posted an advisory on its social media platforms urging people to ignore the posts.
An Oxford Bus Company spokesperson said: "We are aware that there is a scam currently circulating from 'Public Transport in Oxford' advertising a six-month ticket for £2 - this is a fake offer designed to collect your details.
"Please stay vigilant and avoid sharing your personal information."
