A number of flood warnings remain in place as river levels "remain high" in areas across Oxfordshire.

There are currently 10 flood warnings and 22 flood alerts in place across the county

This follows heavy rainfall during Storm Bert, which battered the county and resulted in transport disruption and school closures.

Areas covered by the warnings include the River Thames in Abingdon, Dorchester, and the area between Newbridge and Kings Lock above Oxford.

According to the Environment Agency, river levels are "high" in some areas but are beginning to fall.

For the River Ray in Islip, property flooding is "possible" but "further property flooding is not expected", says the Environment Agency.

Areas most at risk here are properties located closest to the river on Mill Street.

Five flood warnings have been removed in the last 24 hours.
