Motorists in Oxfordshire have been warned about traffic ahead of an Oxford United football game taking place today.

The match against Millwall will kick-off at the Kassam Stadium today (November 30) at 12.30pm.

Ahead of the game, Oxon Travel has warned motorists to expect delays and increased pedestrian activity in the area.

A statement issued this morning said: "Expect delays and increased pedestrian activity around the Kassam Stadium and Grenoble Road in the lead-up to and after the match."

Police have said "a highly visible and robust policing operation" will be in place for the game today.

A section 35 dispersal order has been issued, which will be enacted as a preventative measure to ensure the safety of fans and local communities in the area.

The orders give officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) the power to disperse individuals and groups of people causing harassment, alarm or distress from the locality.

The order will be in place from 9am until 9pm today in Oxford.
