An Oxford United fan has been charged with throwing a missile onto the pitch during a Championship game.
Kevin Hennessey of Bulan Road in Headington was arrested and charged on Saturday, November 23 with one count of throwing a missile onto a football playing area.
The charge is in connection with an incident at the Oxford United versus Middlesbrough Football Club match at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
Thames Valley Police revealed on Friday that the 45-year-old had been arrested and charged in relation to the offence.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged with football offences in Oxford.
Hennessey has been released on bail and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on 9 January.
