An Oxford school will reopen today following serious flooding across the city.
Cherwell School, in Marston Ferry Road, announced yesterday that the South Site would be closed for years 7-9.
The North Site remained open as usual for years 10-13.
This morning headteacher Chris Price posted on the school's website: "I am pleased to confirm that the flooding around the South Site has subsided and the site team are carrying out health and safety checks in order to reopen the area.
"Therefore the school will be able to open to all year groups as normal from tomorrow, Friday November 29."
He thanked parents and carers "for your patience while we have managed this unprecedented situation".
Students going into school yesterday were advised to avoid any route that goes via the South Site from Charlbury Road.
Years 7-9 were provided with remote learning from home.
