A fish restaurant in Oxford has won a national 2024/25 Good Food Award.

Cuttlefish opened seven years ago on St Clement’s Street next to sister restaurant La Cucina under owners Alberto and Yola Brunelli.

Under the guidance of Sicilian chef Michele Genna, the team has been awarded a prestigious Blue Ribbon by the Good Food Awards.

"We are thrilled to hear the amazing news as the Cuttlefish team has worked so hard to get the restaurant name on the culinary map," said Yola.

“With fish and chips, oysters, hot seafood platters, black pasta with mussels, vegetarian arancini, and Sunday roast available, there is a dish for everyone and you could even pop in for a coffee.”

“We are very proud of our teams at Cuttlefish and La Cucina and will strive next year to stay on top and offer our customers the best food experiences we can.

“We live for hospitality in St. Clement's and are so proud to be able to plan for La Cucina's 20th anniversary in 2025.

“Not bad for a small independent family business.”

“Chosen for their food quality, service and value, our prestigious Blue Ribbon is bestowed upon those with high customer ratings and votes.”

Alongside receiving the Blue Ribbon, Cuttlefish was also included in the Harden's Guide.
