A school on the Oxfordshire border has helped to name the communities at a new care home.
Stoneham Grove Care Home, in Tilehurst, Reading, is set to open on December 13.
It asked Long Lane Primary School pupils to help name the residential and dementia communities.
The children were asked to come up with names that reflect the care home's place within the Tilehurst community.
The schoolchildren were then asked to choose their favourite four from a shortlist of locally inspired names.
The residential ground floor will be called Englefield, and the ground floor specialist dementia community will be named Kentwood.
On the second floor, the residential community will be called Blagrave, and the dementia community will be named Armour.
The children from Long Lane Primary School visited the care home to find out the winning names, see the different communities, and meet the team.
The home's general manager, Jodie Lunnon, said: "We would like to thank all of the schoolchildren from Long Lane Primary School who were involved in choosing the beautiful names for our new communities.
"We are really pleased with the names that have been chosen, they fit brilliantly with our location and will resonate with our new residents."
The care home will offer bespoke person-centred residential, dementia, and respite care, and will feature two cafes, spa bathrooms, a cinema, and an in-house hair and beauty salon.
