Drivers should expect delays on some of Oxfordshire's main roads over the next two weeks as National Highways announces its planned closures.
Thought most of the closures are happening overnight, many will cause delays of between 10-30 minutes for motorists.
The government body is only responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so smaller road works are not listed.

For drivers in Oxford, there are four closures on the A34 to look out for, only expected to cause delays of up to 10 minutes:
Tomorrow, November 27, A34 from 9.30pm to 6am, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Botley, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.
A34, from 9.30pm November 28 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Botley, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
A34, from 8.30pm December 4 to 6am December 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Peartree to Islip, Lane closures for drainage work.

One of the worst affected areas is Cherwell, with 19 closures planned over the fortnight for issues ranging from maintenance and drainage works to lane improvements.
One closure is already in place and expected to carry on:
A34, from 8pm August 28 2024 to 6am March 15 2025, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40/A43 northbound and southbound, junction 10, slip road and lane closures due to improvement works.
And a further 18 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
A34, from 9pm November 26 to 6am November 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Weston on the Green, Lane closure for technology work.
A34, from 9.30pm November 26 to 6am November 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 10, entry slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via national highways and local authority networks.

A34, from 9.30pm November 29 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Peartree, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
A43, from 8pm November 30 to 5am December 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A43 northbound and southbound, Baynards Green, Lane closures for maintenance works.

M40, from 10.15pm December 7 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 10 to junction 12, Lane closure for maintenance work.
M40, from 10.15pm December 7 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 12 to junction 11, Lane closure for maintenance work.

West Oxfordshire motorists only have to worry about two closures beginning in the next fortnight:
