Dozens of flood warnings are in place for Oxfordshire as the aftermath of Storm Bert continues to affect the county.

A total of 27 flood warnings have been issued, which means flooding is expected.

Issued by the Environment Agency and the Met Office, areas covered by the flood warnings include Kidlington, Stony Stratford, Upper Heyford and Islip.

A flood warning for the River Cherwell for the Oxford area was issued this morning (November 26).

While there is currently no weather warning in place for the county, further rain is forecast overnight.

Oxfordshire County Council today warned that river levels remain "very high" as a result of heavy rainfall associated with the storm.
