Drivers have been warned to stay away after a major Oxfordshire road flooded.
The A40 north and west of Oxford has flooded today (Monday, November 25) with the area covering Eynsham and Cassington badly flooded.
This has been caused by the adverse weather conditions which has seen heavy rainfall throughout the country as part of the effects of Storm Bert.
Motorists were warned as to the problem and advised to avoid the area and instead find alternative routes.

A statement by Oxon Travel, a traffic account run by the county council, said: “We are experiencing delays in both directions on the A40 Cassington with reports of flooding in the area.
“For helpful tips while travelling please visit the Met Offfice/Gov.uk website.
“Approach with caution or find alternative route where possible.”
