Seven schools in Oxfordshire have announced closures for today (Monday) following flooding in the aftermath of Storm Bert.
Some of the worst flooding occurred in Banbury, where the closures have been concentrated.
The full list of schools currently closed are: Bloxham CofE Primary School in Tadmarton Road, Clanfield CofE Primary School, Bampton, Cropredy CofE Primary School, Banbury, St James CofE Primary School in Hanney, Wantage, St Michael's CofE Primary School, Steventon Village, Woodeaton Manor School, Woodeaton and Wykham Park Academy, Banbury.

Oxfordshire County Council regularly updates its unplanned school closures website. Parents should get in touch with schools for specific information.
The closures come amid severe disruptions to road, rail and other transport as a result of the flooding.
There are 20 flood warnings in force from the Environment Agency for Oxfordshire, where flooding is expected, and 32 more alerts say flooding is possible.
