The Environment Agency has issued 20 flood warnings for Oxfordshire, with many areas already flooded overnight. 

There are an additional 32 flood alerts in force for the county, which means flooding is "possible" in those areas. 

Flooding has already occurred on the Ginge Brook around Steventon and Sutton Courtenay, the River Cherwell either side of Banbury, and the River Evenlode between Milton under Wychwood, Shipton under Wychwood and Ascott under Wychwood.

Also affected are the River Ray at Otmoor, the Shill Brook in West Oxfordshire around Carterton and Bampton, the Sor Brook at Bodicote and Adderbury and Wendlebury Village on the brook there. 

In Banbury, train and bus services are seriously disrupted and there are reports that Concorde Avenue and the bus station are flooded in the town. 

Further flooding is expected at the River Great Ouse at Fulwell, Radclive and Bbuckingham, properties close to the River Kennet at the Burghfield, Southcote, Coley and Holybrook areas, and the River Dene at Walton. 

Additionally, the River Great Ouse at Padbury Brook at Thornton, Beachampton, Passenham and Brackley, the River Stour at Mitford Bridge and from Halford to Cliffor Chambers, the River Tove at Towcester and the South Marston Brook.

Train services are disrupted throughout Oxfordshire, with all GWR services cancelled for the day and the rail provider asking customers not to travel. 

There are also delays on the Chiltern Railways and National Rail, though less than GWR.

Roads are disrupted by standing water and slow moving traffic.
