We all know that Oxford is the cycling city, and Oxfordshire residents have been getting on their bikes since cycling began.

This picture gallery features a range of cyclists, of all ages and from all over the county.
Many were raising money with impressive feats of biking endurance, one for a hospice, another for blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan.
Others took part in competitions, as far away as Morocco and Greece.
One brave cyclist was even pictured wheeling through a flooded lane in Witney.
Have a look back through the archive to see the cyclists of the 90s.
