A city school remains closed after a week due to electricity issues.
Orion Academy in Knights Road in the Blackbird Leys of Oxford is closed today (Friday, November 22).
It closed a week ago on Friday, November 15 due to an electrical supply issue, as stated on Oxfordshire County Council's list of school closures.

It was initially expected to reopen on Tuesday (November 19), but it has today been announced that Monday (November 25) will now be the earliest that the academy will reopen.
The academy provides updates to parents and if it needs to remain closed on Monday or for a longer period it will be communicating with them directly.
Orion Academy was established in 2020 before moving into a new building in September 2021.
