The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:
 
JAMES PHILLIPS, 34, of Papist Way, Cholsey, pleaded guilty to damaging a bowl, door and air fryer to the value of £154 in Wallingford on November 18 last year. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay compensation of £154. No orders for costs or a victim surcharge were made. 
 
RACHAEL ASHBY, 36, of Anyans Row, Ingham, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Toyota Aygo in Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on September 12 this year. Ashby must undergo alcohol treatment for six months and comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of eight days. She was also banned from driving for 40 months, but this can be reduced by 40 weeks if a course is completed by February 7 2027. She must also pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £114 and a fine of £100. 

CURTIS JOHNSON, 28, of Chiltern Gardens, Woodcote, pleaded guilty to drug driving in a Ford Transit on the A4183 Oxford Road, Abingdon, on April 14 this year. He was banned from the road for 12 months and must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £160 and a fine of £400. 
 
MUHAMMAD QAZI, 37, of Pauling Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes Benz C Class without due care and attention on April 10 in Drove Road, Swindon. He must pay costs of £90, a victim surcharge of £91 and a fine of £228. He was also handed six penalty points. 

MUHAMMAD ASIF, 43, of Barns Road, Oxford, was found guilty of one count of assault by beating in Oxfordshire on December 8 last year. He must pay costs of £770 and a victim surcharge of £114. Asif must complete a rehabilitation activity for 30 days and must comply with the orders of the responsible officer for a maximum of five days. He must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. 

BRIAN TRINDER, 41, of Cotswold Crescent, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a class B drug, namely Cannabis / Cannabis Resin, failing to stop a vehicle when ordered to by a police officer, driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance, driving without a licence and drug driving in Chipping Norton on June 2 this year. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, driving without insurance and drug driving in Bicester on May 29 this year. He was handed a three month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He must also undergo mental health rehabilitation for six months and must comply with the orders of the responsible officer for a maximum of  20 days. Trinder must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and was banned from driving for 36 months. For the offences committed in May, he must pay £85 costs, a victim surcharge of £80 and a fine of £200. He was also banned from driving for 24 months, but that can be reduced by 24 weeks if a course is completed by March 22 2026.
