Banbury Christmas lights are due to be switched on at an event in front of the town hall on Sunday, November 24.
The event will include a wide range of entertainment, from dancers to street performers.
It will be the finale to a successful line-up of events in the town this year, including Banbury Music Mix in Jul.
The lights switch-on will showcase talent from up-and-coming stars from Stagecoach, Star Performers and North Oxfordshire Academy and established acts like Under the Covers, Beau Norton, and Uninvited.
The talented dancers from Kalaparna and Rock Choir will also be performing.
The event starts at 11am with the lights being switched on at 5pm, followed by a short firework display.
This display will lead into a closing set by Uninvited, providing a setlist to bring the event to a climactic close at 6pm.
As a thank you to those that keep communities and the wider country safe both nationally and internationally, the lights will be switched on by members of the emergency services, as well as veterans from the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and the British Army.
Also at the event will be the Ice Queen street performers and Father Christmas, who will be making an appearance on the balcony of Banbury Town Hall, keeping up a popular tradition from previous events.
There will also be a range of fairground rides and stalls to enjoy, while food and drink stalls will also be available.
On top of all of this, there will also be the final day of the Victorian Christmas Market.
Banbury Town Council expects it to be a truly fitting end to an incredible 2024 event calendar.
